Serenity Boer Goats

01/05/2026

Our best little helpers were here as we welcomed three new babies last week, the first of the season!

There were some sleepless nights this week. Some tears. A trip to the vet's at 1 am.

There is a lot of time spent preparing and caring for these precious 4 legged friends. Half (or more) of our vacation time from work and school is spent at fairs or in the barn.

We're looking forward to putting some nice young goats into the hands of eager 4H- ers this year!
It's the biggest blessing and makes all the cost worth it to see a happy kid leading one of our animals on show day!

Can't wait to see what 2026 has in store!

Extremely proud of these two little dudes. 1st and 2nd in market class 1.
These two muscular guys were born late in the season this year.
They are the first showing of kids from Mr. Pit ( Blue Team x Peaches) our yearling buck.
This breeding season we're using him on everything.

🧨🧨We're so grateful for everyone who came out and bid on our animals today. We always enjoy talking to buyers and answering questions about the goats we have raised. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see our goats and especially those who liked them enough to bid. 🧨🧨

All washed and ready to go! Sells tomorrow at Danville Auction LLC

100% fullblood, 2 year old proven buck. Grandson to Untouchable and several other ennobled on his pedigree.

His dam has great mothering abilities, sweet and gentle personality.

Good birth weights on his kids this year made kidding a lot easier than with other bucks we've used.

The only wether out of him that we sold last year won its class at Hartford. We're keeping ALL doe kids out of him this year.

It was a tough decision to let him go. If we weren't taking a break from ABGA, he would be staying right here.

Can't Buy Me Love. We've kept buck kids out of her both years because her genetics speak for themselves. Her dam is a big footed, full of bone producer and this girl is no different. 1x1 teat structure. Raised triplets this year who all grew well. As We've said before, we can't keep them all. Since our daughter started showing and our son is now too old, she gets to decide who leaves and who stays. We don't always keep the best ones!

Pulled this girl straight off the pasture today. Daughter to National Champion, Mic Drop.
had a nice set of twins this year, just weaned a month ago so she's still in her working clothes . She sells tomorrow at Danville Auction LLC , open and ready to breed this fall. She did well in the breeding show at the Delaware County Fair, big b***d, great temperament, great maternal instincts. Plenty of breeding seasons left in her.
