Not sure what’s going on over there in Eastern Europe that produces so many Facebook scammers, but I get at least 2-3 messages a day from them. 🤨

I do have a form that’s required before booking as well and a 50% deposit that arrives from Square, Inc. (probably the most well known POS system). I can also meet up in person for a cash deposit!

My number one priority is keeping everyone safe, including (especially) my kids, my clients and my business. We carry insurance and follow all cottage baking rules in Wisconsin to my best knowledge. My goal is to be as legit as possible for everyone involved. Sometimes that does require extra safety measures, like not accepting CashApp, Zelle and Venmo as deposit payment online.

Scammers can kick rocks! I’m just a stay at home mom trying to pay for a Disney World trip with baked goods, yall. 😅

Oh, that’s a honey and graham cracker cake dipped in milk chocolate, stuffed with marshmallow cream, topped with graham cracker crumbs and marshmallows. Stay for the satisfying chocolate smashing ASMR. 😅

I love the adorable little tin, but I am a buttercream goblin and I could not pile the amount I wanted to with these lids without smashing it. 😆

Pride of Iowa Cookies🌽

She isn’t the cutest, but she has a rich history.

This oatmeal and coconut cookie is from the Shover Family Cookbook— written and published by my paternal grandma’s family. This is a cookie that has roots in Eastern Iowa, most likely because of the Quaker Oats factory in Cedar Rapids. My grandpa, Chuck, worked there as a factory worker before he retired in the 80s. 😊 This cookie tastes like childhood to me.
