Our hearts are heavy as we reflect on the tragic and unnecessary events that occurred at the Old West End Festival yesterday.

While we were not in attendance, we are deeply saddened by the news and want to extend our thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt support to everyone affected. To the victims and their families, the attendees who witnessed this tragedy, the vendors and food truck operators who were there, the event organizers, first responders, and the entire Toledo community—we are thinking of you during this incredibly difficult time.

Festivals and community events are meant to be places where people come together to celebrate, make memories, support local businesses, and enjoy time with family and friends. It is heartbreaking when moments meant to bring joy are overshadowed by tragedy.

As members of the local food truck and small business community, we stand alongside our fellow vendors and event partners. We hope for healing, comfort, and strength for all those impacted, and we are grateful for the first responders and medical personnel who acted quickly to help those in need.

Please keep the victims, their loved ones, and everyone affected in your thoughts and prayers.
