Seems like everyone wants to share their pictures of their garden goods or their fuzzy chickens, etc but nobody wants to talk about all the stuff that can and does go wrong on a farm. We’re having a ridiculous problem with what I assume is raccoons. They’ve almost wiped out my flock of chickens, some of which were from my original batch I got four years ago, many of whom we’ve hatched and raised and the girls have cared for, only to find them half eaten in the barn in the morning. Doing what I can but I’m only one person and I work second shift six days a week so I rely on others to get them locked up at night in a timely manner. My new live trap has stopped working so I’ll be off to buy another in the morning.
