Opportunity DeKalb's entrepreneurship work was just recognized statewide. Their Breakthrough Community Business Academy is about to begin its fifth cohort supporting local entrepreneurs. Eligibility is straightforward:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Live in DeKalb County
• Have made at least one sale of a product or service connected with the business the person will focus on in the Academy.

If you or someone you know is interested, they can visit Opportunity DeKalb's website at www.opportunitydekalb.org/bcba and click on the green "Breakthrough CBA Interest Form" button. After providing some basic information, the person will be contacted by Opportunity DeKalb staff to set up a time to speak about the Academy.

Thank you to Allies for Community Business for welcoming some of our crew to The Hatchery this past week. Connections, capital, and kitchens are all very important to our work and it was great to talk to so many people on hand about those subjects and more.

Great to have local entrepreneurs Baked By Baddies LLC and The Treehouse Pie Company with us on the visit!
