How long should a child be rear facing⁉

First, Infant Carriers will ❎NEVER❎ forward face.

One of the most common misuses in car seats is moving a child to a forward-facing seat too soon.

Do you know where to find the rear facing requirements for your seat?🔍

On the side of the car seat, and in the manual, you will find a weight, height, and sometimes an age of when a child fits the requirements to forward face. You will also find how the requirements for how long your child can rear-face.

Also make sure you’re familiar with your state’s laws on child passenger safety, as some states do have age/size requirements!

If you plan to attend our Seat Check Saturday event this Saturday, you will also see a new addition to our event this year!😃

The new Rollover Simulator for Safety Belt Education from the Ohio Traffic Safety Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol will be demonstrating the importance of continuous seat belt wearing long after leaving a car seat!

The front seat can wait! Their safety can't!🚗♥️
We know it can be convenient to let your child ride in the front seat, especially when they're eager to do it or for a quick trip. But convenience doesn't always mean safety!
💥Airbags are designed for adults💥
That extra few minutes of inconvenience is worth it when it comes to giving your child the safest ride possible!
Keep kids in the back seat! And buckle up every ride, every time!👍🏻

Is your child in the right car seat??🤔

As our children go, the milestones they reach are exciting!
BUT, moving them into the next car seat too soon can lead to a loss of safety in the vehicle.

If you are unsure what car seat is correct for your child, speak to a nationally certified child passenger safety technician.
