The annual fundraiser of the Finger Lakes Feather Club, The Coop Raffle at the NY State Fair, is rapidly approaching. The proceeds from the raffle allows us the financial support to keep the Yankee Fall Classic and the Finger Lakes Feather Club up and running.

Would you please consider signing up for a shift at the raffle table? This year you have the option of working the whole day OR Shift A (12-4) or Shift B (4-8). We will pay you $20 if you come work at the table which can offset your costs of coming to the event. The state fair runs from August 20th to Sept 1st. Also, it is not too late to enter chickens in the fair. Due to difficulties with the sign up process, they have extended the deadline until August 10th. 2. Join the Yankee Fall Classic *Official* Group FB page for the showbook (in the files section). Also, the latest in show information is available here.

3. Request a show book by email from [email protected]

There should be a show book available on Poultry Show Central soon as well.

 The main objective of the club is to get together, socialize with other breeders while someone judges the birds and ranks them to our glory or dissatisfaction.     - JP
