Steinholding is coming to Evergreen State Brewing in September.

The concept sounds ridiculously simple:

Hold a full stein straight out in front of you.

Don't bend your elbow.

Don't drop your arm.

Don't cry.

Last one standing wins. 🏆

We are kicking off our qualifying competitions soon, with men's and women's divisions and bragging rights absolutely included.

WHY THE WASHINGTON NAMES?

🌲 NO, WE DON'T JUST THROW DARTS AT A MAP OF WASHINGTON.

Although… that might actually be a pretty entertaining way to name b**r. 😂

If you've spent any time looking at the Evergreen tap list, you've probably noticed something:

Every one of our b**rs has a connection to Washington State.

Places. People. History. Legends. And occasionally some of the wonderfully weird stuff that makes this state ours.

That's not an accident.

When we became Evergreen State Brewing, we wanted the name to mean something. So rather than giving our b**rs random clever names, we decided every b**r we create would tell a little piece of Washington's story.

Some stories are beautiful.

Some are historic.

Some are bizarre.

And some make you wonder what exactly was going on in Washington at the time. 😂

We'll be sharing more of those stories right here.

Because apparently drinking the b**r wasn't enough. Now we're assigning homework. 🍺📚

We’re taking Evergreen State Brewing out of the taproom and into the park today for Pour in the Park!

Come find us, say hi, and grab a pour. We’ll be out there doing what we do best — pouring Washington-inspired b**r and probably talking way too much about it. 😂🍻
