Texas time teaches us … start steady, stay grounded, and trust what’s ahead.

Happy New Year from Two Weeks Farm & Ranch! 🤎

We've got a new baby heifer on the ground! 🩷

We've been patiently waiting for Lady to bring her baby out to meet us! If there is one thing longhorn mamas are good at, besides being the very best mamas, it's hiding their babies!

Beautiful Texas Longhorn Cattle isn't the only thing that we've got here on the ranch! We are also home to a variety of different birds and you never know what you might see visiting the very many feeders that owner, Chris Hajducek, works very hard to keep full!

In case you were wondering, Longhorn Mama's have to share their personal space with their babies too! 🤎

We'd like to introduce you to another beauty that grazes the pastures of Two Weeks Farm & Ranch here in Taft, Texas!

2W Pearl's JuJu turned 2 years old in February and it literally looks like her mama hit Copy & Paste!

We purchased her mama, Rockin A Latte, (who we now call Pearl), from Schumacher Cattle, LLC located in Era, Texas!

We expect to see JuJu's first calf hit the ground very soon! Stay tuned!

(Be sure to checkout the comments to see pics of her mom and dad, Jamakin Waves SS!)

We thought we'd take some time to introduce our herd and who better to start with than this beautiful gal right here!

G3 Lady of the Sea, aka Lady, has been with us since the Summer of 2020! She throws some beautifully colored calves and is an amazing mama!

She came to us from G3 Ranch and Brittany Gentry was an awesome help in sharing a ton of information with us as we were just starting out!

Lady has a great pedigree including Cowboy Chex, BL Rio Catchit, and J.R. Grand Slam to name a few!

She turned (6) years old in April and we can't wait to continue to see her grazing the pastures of Two Weeks Farm & Ranch for years to come!

🚨 Coming Soon 🚨

We are excited to share that starting in 2025 we will be offering straight from our ranch in Taft, Texas!

“The Texas Longhorn produces a very lean beef (more meat less fat per ounce). Studies at major universities have shown that Texas Longhorn beef is significantly lower in cholesterol than other breeds of beef cattle. A Texas Longhorn's, who was raised on grass without chemicals or supplements, meat is lower in cholesterol than a skinless chicken breast. The Texas Longhorn owner can feel good knowing he is producing a heart healthy product for consumption. Their Meat is very tasty and a pretty bright red colour.” ~ The Cattle Site

Stay tuned!!!!

Just in case anyone is wondering how it’s going in South Texas this morning!!! 🤦‍♀️

11/19/2022

The proud new owner of our little bull calf is an 11 year old kiddo from Baytown, Tx! This will be the first Registered Texas Longhorn that he will own, raise and show! He’s shown before but this is the first calf he can call his own thanks to the KPA Donation Calf Program!

We can’t wait to watch them grow up together in the show ring!! 🤎
