Breeding season isn't quite going our way this year; Because of this, I wanted to give some credit to the small business breeders that put there heart and soul into their program. Small breeders don’t always have the biggest barns, the most mares, or the deepest pockets—but what we do have is heart, grit, and an unmatched level of care for every single horse in our program.
Breeding isn’t easy. It’s early mornings, late nights, and a whole lot of waiting and hoping. It’s investing time, money, and emotion into something that doesn’t always go as planned. When a mare doesn’t catch on the first cycle, it’s not just a minor setback—it can mean added stress, more expenses, and tough decisions that bigger operations may not feel the same way. For small breeders, every attempt matters.
But here’s what sets us apart: we know our horses inside and out. Every mare gets individual attention. Every breeding decision is made with intention, not volume. We don’t just run a program—we build relationships, we study pedigrees, we monitor health closely, and we pour everything we have into giving each horse the best possible chance.
So while we may be smaller, we should never be overlooked. Behind every foal is dedication, sacrifice, and a breeder who truly cares.
Support small breeders. There’s a story, a struggle, and a whole lot of passion behind every horse we raise. Iv added a few pictures of our mares and the foal we raised last year as well as the one this year. Hoping for some breeding updates soon! We are excited for our crosses this year!
