What a great class today at Heart & Skill Connections Inclusion Cafe Academy. Our volunteers each brought their own casserole recipe, and prepare them with our trainees.
They were so good. Of course, the dessert casserole was the best.

So many Chefs no one knows about it was so rewarding to watch.

This Friday, we return to a place that has been part of our journey from the very beginning…

The Salvation Army of Tallahassee

Not only are they opening their doors to us once again, but they are also serving as our Week 12 Sponsor!

This week’s class is all about something every family can appreciate…

🍽️ CASSEROLE DAY! 🍽️

Our trainees will learn how to prepare delicious comfort foods they can make at home for their families.

Because Heart & Skill Connections Inclusion Cafe Academy is about more than job skills.

It’s about:

✅ Increasing confidence
✅ Learning life skills
✅ Creating opportunities for the future

Every recipe we teach is another step toward greater self-sufficiency and empowerment.

As we enter the final stretch of Cohort #5, it’s hard to believe we have only 5 weeks until graduation! 🎓

This is why Inclusion Cafe Academy is so important. Just like the Chef No One Knows About, Bill Schack, who is the Founder of Heart & Skill Connections, Franklin Becker “gets it”.
I would love to partner with Chef’s on the spectrum, and I hope we can.

What a fun time at Heart & Skill Connections Inclusion Cafe Academy last week.
Our trainees learned the art of making a delicious Cajun Gumbo.
From the perfectly dark roux to the right ingredients, to the constant stirring to make it perfect.
