And it's also tonight at Goodwood Museum & Gardens - a once-a-month celebration of live music, great drinks, a beautiful setting and local food.

The latter part is where we come in!

For the second time this year, we will be the featured food vendor at Wonderful Wednesday, serving alongside our friends at Damas TLH with 911 Tallahassee Rock Band playing on center stage in Goodwood Gardens!

🚶‍♂️🌮 NEXT POP-UP: Wonderful Wednesday @ Goodwood! 🚶‍♂️🌮

This Wednesday, Sept. 16th, we are BACK at Goodwood Museum & Gardens for "Wonderful Wednesday!"

This is a monthly event held in the picturesque gardens of Goodwood Museum off Miccosukee Rd., and it features an evening of live music, libations and local food vendors. (Shoutout Damas TLH - the amazing on-site restaurant at Goodwood - which will also be open and serving Wednesday!)

The entertainment for this latest editon of Wonderful Wednesday will be the iconic local 911 Tallahassee Rock Band from 6-8 pm. We absolutely CANNOT WAIT for this show!

This Wednesday will also mark our second time serving up our viral Walking Tacos at this event ... and the first time we nearly sold out! (And that's hard for us to do - cause this lil' cart can churn out a lot of Walking Tacos!)

We'll be set up and ready to serve by 5pm-ish, so come on out, grab a drink, a Walking Taco and settle in for what's sure to be another GREAT show at Goodwood! 🎶🎼🎸🚶‍♂️🌮

We can't think everyone enough who came out and supported our a small family passion project to be the FIRST to bring Walking Tacos to Tallahassee - and we especially appreciate everyone who came out specifically to try the debut of our Cheeseburger Walking Taco made with Metro Deli chips and topped with Dick Mondell’s Burgers & Fries famous Dick's Sauce!

Great work by OCBC to capture this night and others - including Ethan Kyllonen, Flamingo Party and The Groove Merchants playing live sets between Thursday and Saturday, Osceola Oyster Co. shucking up a storm and that awesome collab b**r cheese pizza between OCBC and Gaines Street Pies.

Hope to be invited back next year, too! 🚶‍♂️🌮

The debut of our Cheeseburger Walking Taco collab with Metro Deli goes down today at Oyster City Tallahassee on Day 4 of their 5-Year Anniversary, and to make sure it was EXTRA fire, we went out and secured the best Tallahassee burger sauce in the game:

Dick Mondell’s Burgers & Fries Dick's Sauce!

This signature burger sauce they put on their Big Dick Burger and Dick Junior Burger is NEXT-LEVEL, and the key ingredient isn't relish, or garlic, or even something top secret.

It's pickle juice! 🥒🥒🥒

You can customize your Cheeseburger Walking Taco as you see fit, but here's how we plan to build it:

** Metro Deli Jalapeño Cheddar Chips
** Seasoned Ground Hamburger
** Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Melted Queso Cheese OR Cotija Crumbled Mexican Cheese (hell - get all 3 if you want! 😆)
** Lettuce
** Diced Tomatoes
** Diced Onions
** Chopped Dill Pickle
** Fresh Jalapeños

In our humble opinion, anyway ... 😎

Today we secured the bag(sssss) of those Metro Deli Cheddar Jalapeño Kettle Cooked Chips.

And on Thursday at Oyster City Tallahassee - on Day 4 of their 5-Year Anniversary - we will officially debut the Cheeseburger Walking Taco!

Metro Deli, located right off Monroe St. in Downtown Tallahassee, is a and they've been serving up some of the BEST sandwiches and wraps in the city for over two decades. And recently their owner Rob approached us and asked if we could come with a taco to make with their signature Metro Deli Jalapeño Cheddar chips they're known for.

And we were like, "EUREKA! WE'VE GOT IT: The Cheeseburger Walking Taco!"

And on Thursday, Aug. 20th - from 5-9 pm - we are finally rolling it out!

You can customize your Cheeseburger Walking Taco as you see fit, but here's how we'll build it:

** Metro Deli Jalapeño Cheddar Chips

We taste-tested these chips in this taco already, and they are DELICIOUS. Not only are they kettle cooked and super crispy, but they've got great hints of cheese and jalapeno in every bite. 😋

The special b**r release on Thursday will be the Scenic Route Session IPA (Pic #4), which sounds like it would pair perfectly with one of these Cheeseburger Walking Tacos! 😎
