D & V FRESH CATCH UPDATE 🦀

Unfortunately, due to weather conditions in Louisiana and an extremely limited blue crab catch this week,
D & V Fresh Catch will NOT be setting up today.

We know many of you were looking forward to seeing us, and trust us, we were ready for y’all too! 😩

Because we sell live Louisiana blue crabs, our availability ultimately depends on what the boats are able to bring in. This week, the catch simply wasn’t there!

We’d rather wait and come back with the quality and availability our customers expect than force a setup with limited inventory. 💙

Stay tapped in for our next confirmed date.

Today was definitely one for the books. 😭🌧️

Between a delayed start, the Florida heat and then getting rained on, we had quite the Saturday but y’all STILL came through.

Thank you to every customer who called, messaged, patiently waited and pulled up to support D & V Fresh Catch today. We truly appreciate you. 🫶🏾

No matter how the day goes, seeing our customers leave with their crabs makes it worth it.

Blue claws or red tips.. do you know the difference? 👀🦀

💙 Male blue crabs: bright blue claws & a narrow T-shaped apron underneath
♥️ Female blue crabs: red/orange-tipped claws & rounder apron underneath

Now you know what to look for!😉

We may be taking a short break from setting up, but the crab content is still coming. 🤤

Auntie cooked her D & V Fresh Catch crabs, and baby… look at the finished product!
We love seeing how our customers and family prepare their 🦀.

How are you seasoning yours? 👀
