Synergy Sweethearts,

Before I officially start my week of rest, I just wanted to say thank you.

Today was incredibly busy, and I was overwhelmed by the kindness so many of you showed. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, checked on me, wished me well, sent a message, or let me know you're keeping me in your prayers. Your encouragement and support mean more than I can put into words.

Owning a small business can be exhausting at times, but moments like today remind me just how special this community truly is.

Thank you for the grace you've given me as I take this time to focus on my health and rest. It hasn't gone unnoticed, and I am so grateful for each and every one of you.

Now, while I'm away, I need your help with something...

I wanted to share an update with you all.

After many conversations with my family, I've decided it's time to take a short break from the bakery so I can focus on my health and get some much-needed rest.

Something many people may not know is that I live with a chronic neuromuscular condition. While I don't talk about it often, it's something I navigate every day. Lately, the long hours, physical demands of running the bakery, and lack of rest have started to catch up with me, and I've realized it's time to slow down and take care of myself.

That being said...

Synergy Sweets will be closed June 14 through June 23, and we will reopen on Wednesday, June 24.

Taking this time now will help ensure I can return rested, refreshed, and ready to continue doing what I love.

One thing I forgot to mention in the video: If you already have a custom order scheduled for pickup on Wednesday, June 17 or Thursday, June 18, your order will still be available for pickup at your scheduled time. Jared will be at the bakery to assist customers with pre-arranged pickups.

However, we will not be accepting any additional custom orders during this closure period, and I will respond to all new inquiries after my return.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, prayers, and continued support. So many of you have supported Synergy Sweets through every season, and I don't take that for granted.

I appreciate the grace you're giving me to take care of myself, and I look forward to seeing you all again on June 24.

We had a few hiccups earlier this week, so our cheesecake lineup is a little smaller than usual. 😭 Instead of our usual variety, we only have 5 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠! We know... we're disappointed too! 😩

We've had a few unexpected hiccups with some of this week's menu items, so we've had to remove a few and make adjustments to others.

As always, we're committed to providing the quality sweets you've come to expect from Synergy Sweets. If it doesn't meet our standards, we won't offer it.

We're making a few tweaks behind the scenes and hope to be fully stocked again tomorrow. 🤞🏾 Our website has been updated with what's currently available, and we still have plenty of delicious sweets to sweeten your day! 😋
