A story going around this week really hit home for us.
A young entrepreneur with a disability started a cookie company — and then turned it into something bigger, using her business as a way to help other people with disabilities launch their own careers. Not a nonprofit. Not a program. A real business, doing real good, on purpose.
We felt that deeply. Because that's the whole idea behind Shared Grounds and Sons.
We didn't just want to make great coffee — we wanted to build something that creates genuine employment for adults with special needs in our community. Richard, Daniel, Zahria, and Rob hand-pack every bag of our small-batch Tampa Bay coffee, and every order you place is a direct investment in that mission. Come join us at sharedgroundsandsons.com.
