One of my favorite movies about food and people is the movie “Burnt”. My favorite scene in that movie, is when Adam tells Helene that consistency is death. He goes on to explain that “Chefs should strive to be consistent at experience, but not in taste.” “Food should be an experience!” This being said, most everything We make, though it’s called the same thing every time, may or may not taste exac
tly the same. We are not Professional Chefs however, people are always asking for our recipes. I, myself have always well, .... just cooked, I rarely measure anything. This mean, if it smells like it’s burning, looks like it’s burning, sounds like it’s burning it will taste like it’s burning. In O’Dell’s Kitchen, our main ingredient is always LOVE. Our goal is bringing people together through food; To bring people back to having a meal with people they love; and to show people that cooking isn’t about getting it perfect or even getting it right every time. My philosophy on recipes is they are merely a list of suggestions with instructions. You can change any ingredients, add ingredients, take away ingredients. Much like when you ask advice from someone you respect. Use the most valuable part of the advice to carve out your own results. Have fun with it. If you’re not sure it will work, GOOGLE it. (that’s what we do). So in an effort to bring you the recipes you love seeing on Facebook, We’ve decided that we will be posting one new recipe a week. Feel free to direct message any questions you may have or recipe tips or short cuts you discovered. Please keep all comments family friendly. Without further ado ... Here is O’Dell’s Kitchen’s Recipe of the week. Week 1. ... And Remember that, . Much Love,
The O’Dells
