HI GUYS! It’s me, Robin! I thought it was about time for a little refreshed hello. 🫶🏼

My husband and I, (Shawn) are the owners of Sterling Hills Farm, and I am SO grateful to have you following along!

When I get guests here they frequently want to know the following about me:

I chose Highlands to raise because I have always had a love for all bovine creatures! I find cows fascinating!

This was ALL my husband’s idea. He wanted us to raise a handful of cows so we could enjoy them and make use of our beautiful acreage.

We do not have farmhands. My dad helps my husband with infrastructure and lends us a hand for anything else in between!

I don’t have a background in Agriculture. All self taught, and both my husband and I are fanatical and obsessive about owning something we love and giving it our all.

Random things no one asks but here ya go:

- I was born in the Philippines, I am stubborn, sassy, and feisty as most Filipinas I’ve ever met.
- I am a tropical princess. This farm life doesn’t keep me from travel, I love crystal blue waters and white sand beaches.
- I unravel for a glass of Prosecco and spending evenings with my husband, laughing, swimming, or enjoying our farm.
- I am a mom to 2 incredibly sweet, loving and amazing girls, 13 years apart. Because once again… my husbands idea 😂
- I have zero talents. I can’t sing, I can’t dance, lots of things scare me and I’m very ‘by the rules’ - BUT I am not afraid to work, and work hard!
- I love to laugh and appreciate a crude sense of humor.
- I love alllll food. I can scarf down a gyro, salivate over shrimp tacos, and eat my weight in crab legs. I can go overboard with pasta.
- My husband treats me like a queen and I am not shy to share it. We’re each other’s best friends! He is an incredible human being, father and everything in between and makes life for us so special!
- I don’t care to watch TV but I will play music so loud it’s obnoxious.
- I’ve been a gamer mom for years - ever since our oldest was 8yrs old. I’ve played COD with both of them and I’m pretty damn good, considering 😂

Henrietta felt a bit like a lost battle after a couple months of denying me any love.

I started to shamelessly tell her she wasn’t maximizing that pretty face 😅

But I’ve never given up on her. Found out her love language was deep butt scratches. So I’ve been scratching like a desperate lover for the last couple of weeks… and although our relationship I would still call ‘complicated’, I think we’re moving closer to being official.

I am really excited to share with you all Blankenship Farm in Michigan. If you’re here, or there - consider following, supporting, and showing up for my friend who is pursing such a steadfast dream of hers.

I have watched Fawn Blankenship faithfully pursue this vision, with sacrifice and with love, and with faith. She is a heart of gold, and a true love and passion for her animals. I have so many guests from up north… now you can revel in more Highland joy!

I’ve been dreaming about opening our farm up for visits like this 🤍

There’s just something special about slowing down, feeding the cows, and spending a little time out here.

We’re now offering private farm visits at Blankenship Farm — a relaxed, one-family-at-a-time experience where you can meet the animals, take photos, and just enjoy being here.

It’s simple, it’s peaceful, and it’s something I’m really excited to share.

107 acres of pure Countryside Paradise!!!

🥰 Had to include our blooper, because this is real life. So many of you have been with us since the beginning, since I brought that little herd of 5 here - back in 2022.

You’ve followed us through some highs, but also some lows.

You’ve cheered us on.

You’ve watched me dream out loud.

You’ve supported us!

Been proud for us!

Cried tears of sadness and joy with me!

So I am so happy, so humbled, so excited to share this growth, a next big step for Sterling Hills. A space I will invite you into.

We are officially a 107 acre Highland Cattle ranch and I can’t believe I get to say that out loud!

To raise these beauties while being environmentally conscious and loving stewards of this beautiful land we get to call OURS is so precious, and so humbling. We will be pouring our hearts into giving back to this new space and creating even more of a paradise for our crew, for us, and for you.
