Well this wind storm has been quite the learning experience. I was outside before the sun came up this morning trying to keep my defender enclosures from flying away! The wind bent the heck out of my cow shelter. We literally just bought it and put it up on Saturday. Im so 😔. I now have to rethink my set up and figure out ways to keep my stuff from flying away.

Well everyone i think we did it!!! Salt and Ziggys fever is gone as if this morning!!!! Im keeping my fingers crossed they continue to improve, and goats dont get whatever this virus was.

My sweet girl Pepper unexpectedly passed away Saturday night. Not exactly sure what's going on but Salt and Ziggy are acting more tired than usual now. Our wonderful vet came out to check on them, she thinks they have some kind of virus. They both checked out fine other than having a fever and being tired. They were just given antibiotics. Fingers crossed these 2 pull through. 😞

Got some defender cages moved and set up in 2 of our pins, gave Ziggy and Luca their own space so the would quit chasing the girls. Now we just gotta get the chicken area dialed in and ready for colder weather. What a busy weekend!
