Nice seeing some drone footage that doesn't end in a violent explosion. Here I'm testing my trained eagle and his ability to carry a camera and focus on the subject as it avoids obstacles and flies around the item in focus

There are significant benefits to using digital modes whether on the UHF/VHF bands or the much longer distance HF bands. On the left is an Android tablet running APRS droid, with a cable going to an Digirig Digirig Lite and then a Yaesu USA FX4. This setup is primarily for sending APRS messages and interacting with specific APRS bots. On the right is a low power HF radio, a trusdx, paired with a Digirig Lite, a Panasonic Toughbook and a 20/40/80m EFHW antenna. This offers me the ability to use digital modes such as Winlink, VaraHF and the messaging program known as JS8CALL. This is the program used in the protocols established by S2 Actual . The EnCommTools program from makes interfacing a computer with the radio through a Digirig very easy.

HACKED: Foreign actors breached two Colorado water utilities, tampering with pumping cycles, disabling alarms and altering equipment settings before operators regained control.

The intrusions did not affect drinking water quality, but they add Colorado to a growing list of more than 100 water systems across 12 states hit by cyberattacks this year, according to the EPA.

Federal authorities have warned that hackers are targeting internet-connected operational technology at water facilities — including pumps, valves and programmable logic controllers — and have urged operators to remove those systems from direct internet exposure.

Sharing a meal with the locals might cost some of your food but you can make friends. This guy ate some of my rice and stole a carrot before flying off. I'm sure he'd dined at this establishment many times before.
