🍗 Homemade Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets

🧂 Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized chunks)
1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crunch)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Cooking spray or a light drizzle of olive oil
🍴 Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into nugget-sized pieces, about 1.5 inches each.
Set Up the Breading Station
Bowl 1: Place the flour
Bowl 2: Beat the eggs
Bowl 3: Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan (if using), paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
Bread the Nuggets
Coat each chicken piece in flour → then dip in egg → then coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Press lightly to help the coating stick well.
Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 190°C (375°F) for about 3–4 minutes.
Air Fry the Nuggets
Arrange the nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer (cook in batches if necessary). Spray lightly with oil.
Cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temp should reach 75°C or 165°F).
Serve & Enjoy
Serve hot with your favorite dips like ketchup, BBQ sauce, honey mustard, or ranch.
👨🍳 Tips:
Want it extra crunchy? Double coat the nuggets (dip in egg and breadcrumbs twice).
For a healthier twist, use whole wheat breadcrumbs or almond flour.
Add a pinch of chili powder if you like a spicy kick!
