In a lesson the other day, Rachel produced a water bottle like magic, but turns out it was in the pocket of her Sync Equestrian riding pants! I asked her what else was in those amazing pockets and she gave us a tour. Hint - there was not just one water bottle, but two, plus other things!!! 🤩
Hummingbird on our barn flowers ❤
Sydney 🦄 and Charlotte, our youngest camper this week - so adorable!!! ❤

How straight is your horse? Can you keep straight in canter? If you add a pole/jump and a downward transition? Leah has to work to keep Belle's shoulders in front of her hips and does a great job of it here.
Trying to get all the horses to put their
heads out at the same time for their
Christmas photo 🤣
Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄
When you're a draft that lives with a bunch of retired racehorses 🐎😊 wait for it......
Can you resist the urge to fiddle on the way to a jump? Today's lesson was about sitting quietly and being patient on a long approach. Jessie did a nice job of it here ...
A terrific finish to a terrific week. Here is Penny's Finale round for a 3rd place in Field Hunters. She also placed 13th out of more than 60 horses in the Show Hunter division. 🦄
It took a village to get her there! First thanks go to Tiffany Carey, for support through the entire journey, at shows, at cross country schooling attempts, driving to Lexington then helping throughout the competition! Not sure when her energy and good nature runs out, but we certainly tested it 😜 Thank you Tiffany!
🐴 Thanks to Michelle Motyl, congrats on your 10th (out of 70+!) in show jumping! Thanks for organizing many things that made the trip to Lexington smoother. We missed you at breakfast at Keeneland. A date for next year? 🐎 Alex, the wonderful Bemer rep, you were so generous with your time. I'm sure the Bemer sessions helped Penny perform at her best.
Thanks also to the team at home - Dr. Danielle Grady who was always available for a phone call and never, ever made me feel guilty about calling her. 😅 John Pemberton for the beautiful shoeing job that helped Penny show off her lovely movement, yet also supported her during cross country and hunting. 🌟 Thank you also to Loudoun-Fairfax Hunt for the lovely outing that helped prepare Penny for the Mock Hunt where she earned the perfect score of 100! Thank you Jessica Martin for your key role in Penny's transformation from the very beginning, and Christine for helping us through the last couple of weeks. And many thanks to Theresa Pilegaard for covering lessons and riding while I was away even though she is already so, so busy with her own program.
Penny will be made available for purchase soon only to the most loving of homes. Soon it will be time to start looking for next year's star 💥
