Aurora's Blend is releasing in person tomorrow at the Lexington Farmers Market from 9am - 12pm to celebrate Autism Acceptance Month.

With each container of tea you will get a sample Calming Routine that you can add to your day with the tea.

$1.00 from every container sold will be donated to the Autism Society of North Carolina.

Today is the first day of Autism Acceptance Month and I am releasing my Aurora's Blend tea on the online shop today and it will be available in person this Saturday at the Lexington Farmers Market NC - Depot District 9am - 12pm. It will also be available at Silwood Soaps and Odd Flora in Lexington this weekend. Remember, $1.00 from each container sold will be donated to the Autism Society of North Carolina.

Aurora’s Blend is a caffeine-free herbal tea created with families in mind. Inspired by my daughter Aurora, this blend was thoughtfully made for children who experience the world deeply and benefit from calm, predictable routines. With gentle herbs, sweet orange peel traditionally enjoyed for digestion, and soft rose petals, it offers a mild, comforting flavor that can be part of quiet time, wind-down moments, or pre-meal routines. While created with sensory-sensitive kids in mind, it’s a soothing, cozy tea anyone can enjoy.

With Aurora's Blend I wanted the packaging to not just be a design choice but I wanted it to tell a story. You may notice the rainbow in the logo and the warm gold tones on the labels—these aren’t just design choices, they’re deeply meaningful.

The rainbow infinity symbol represents autism acceptance and neurodiversity—a beautiful reminder that every mind is unique, valuable, and worthy of understanding. It reflects our belief in creating products that feel safe, comforting, and inclusive for everyone.

The gold color is inspired by the chemical symbol for gold, Au, which is often used to represent autism. Gold stands for something rare, precious, and worthy of being celebrated—just like the incredible individuals in the autism community.

From the tea inside to the packaging outside, everything we create is rooted in care, intention, and inclusion. This isn’t just tea—it’s a small way to spread awareness, comfort, and acceptance with every cup.

Aurora's Blend will debut on the online shop April 1st and will debut in person April 4th at the next Lexington Farmers Market, just in time for Autism Acceptance Month. $1.00 from every package sold will be donated to the Autism Society of North Carolina along with 100% of the tips collected serving drinks at the Farmers Market.

My daughter Aurora is on the spectrum, and she experiences the world in a beautifully unique way. We’ve learned how important calm routines and gentle moments can be during busy days.

That’s what inspired me to create Aurora’s Blend — a caffeine-free herbal tea made with chamomile, lemon balm, soft rose petals, peppermint, and a touch of sweet orange peel. The blend is designed to be mild, comforting, and kid-friendly, making it a cozy addition to quiet time or calming routines.

Today Im blending a small sample batch to test the flavor and make sure it’s just right before sharing it more widely. Creating this tea has been a labor of love, and I am excited to keep refining it.

This blend will be available starting in April, just in time for Autism Acceptance Month and a percentage of the sales from this blend will be donated to the Autism Society of North Carolina.

Make sure to check out the Lunar New Year event tomorrow from 10am - 2pm at Arts Davidson in Downtown Lexington!!

Hidden Trail Tea Company has come up with a Special Drink for the event called the Moon Tea. Using our delicious Moonlit Meadow Earl Grey tea with black tea, calendula, cornflower and vanilla and pairing it with an Asian Plum Syrup, giving the tea notes of soft floral, vanilla warmth and a velvet plum finish.

Also, while you are downtown come by the Lexington Farmers Market from 9am - 12pm, Hidden Trail Tea Company will be there serving cups of hot tea and chai.

And here is the other new product we will be releasing this week at the Lexington Farmers Market.

Fireside Chai!!

This is an instant spiced Chai mix with Chaga Mushroom. Blended with black tea, warming spices, (cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, cardamom and a pinch of black pepper) organic oat milk powder and chaga mushroom. A traditional forest grown mushroom long enjoyed as a tea.

This mix is for slow mornings, trail breaks, and moments to rest along the way. Enjoy hot by the fire or iced wherever your path leads you.

Pretty excited to announce new product number one for Hidden Trail Tea Company!!

A Detour through Paradise is our Spring Seasonal Tea! It is a smooth, naturally sweet green Rooibos tea layered with ripe mango and papaya, brightened by citrus peel and softened with delicate rose petals. Very refreshing hot or iced!

This new tea will replace our Spicy Campfire Cocoa, this tea sold pretty fast. I only have one container left and there are a couple of containers left at Silwood Soaps and Odd Flora in Lexington and that is all.

This tea will debut at the Lexington Farmers Market this Saturday February 21st from 9am - 12pm. I will also have free samples of this tea to taste while supplies last.

I am super excited to finally be able to announce a few things that Hidden Trail Tea Company will be a part of!!

First off, Hidden Trail has partnered up with Arts Davidson in Lexington, NC! They have worked really hard to transform the lobby of their gallery and theater into a Tea Bar and Lounge and will exclusively be serving our teas by the cup while they are open and during special events! I will even be popping in from time to time to be a guest batista serving up the teas and coming up with specialty drinks for special events.

Speaking of special events, I have worked with the awesome people at Arts Davidson to come up with a special drink for their Pixel Pig Expo happening this weekend the 14th and 15th. Two full days of games, activities, cosplay and vendors. The Crimson Heart Elixer uses our Wild Blossom Brew Tea, a blend of Rose Hips, Dried Cherries, Coconut, Cinnamon, adding Cherry Syrup and Edible glitter to make it look like a healing potion straight out of your favorite video game!

Make sure you go by Arts Davidson and check out our teas for yourself and take in the art and culture that they have on display!
