I walked into the buck barn to feed the boys and discovered a wolf spider that appears to be paying property taxes.

The boys were completely unbothered.

I, however, informed them that we would need to burn the entire structure down. 🔥🕷️😂

What’s up guys, welcome back!

Today’s project definitely wasn’t on the bingo card.

A giant cherry tree came down and landed on the goat barn, so before we could get back to our normal farm routine, we had a mess to clean up.

Along the way we’ll check in on the goats, assess the damage, get everything cleaned up, and finish a fence improvement project that immediately reminded me why goats can never have nice things.

Just another normal day at Zion Creek Farm. 😂🐐

There was a baby goat screaming somewhere in the barn, which is never a sentence that ends well.

I rounded the corner and found Lady Pascha wedged between two boards after apparently conducting an experiment to determine whether she would fit.

The answer was yes.

Getting back out was where the plan fell apart.

Most moms tolerate it.

DEATH BY BUCKET 😂🐐

Most goats see a bucket and think:

"Food."

Java sees a bucket and thinks:

"Challenge accepted."

Somehow she managed to pull a bucket off the wall, get her head through the handle, put a leg inside the bucket, and convince herself she was under attack.

Meanwhile Gummy was attempting to continue eating from the bucket while her daughter was fighting for her life.

Team Mayhem strikes again.

For seven straight mornings I opened the nursery stall, said good morning, and watched the same thing happen.

The babies exploded out of the gate yelling for their moms.

Only The Queen Gets Beard Strokes 👑

Sprinkles was perfectly happy receiving her royal beard stroking until Sugarpie and Puddin decided they wanted in on the action.

The queen would like everyone to know that beard-stroking privileges are not transferable. 😂
