✨ It's Indigenous Peoples Day! Join us as we celebrate and honor Native Americans. ✨

πŸ’– Native Americans are still hereπŸ’– Through re-learning and reclaiming cultural traditions, activism, and truth-telling of Native American history, natives are making their presence known.

Indigenous Peoples Day has different meanings for many Native Americans. It can range from celebrating and honoring their culture to reflecting on the US treatment of their people. It can even serve as an opportunity to highlight important issues that impact indigenous communities.

πŸ“’ Brown Boots Stables has some exciting news to share!

We are working with a local large-scale farmer to grow a crop rotation of wheat, corn, and soybeans on the farm. The farmer that we are working with is very reputable and has years of experience growing various types of crops.

We are excited about this next step and are happy to continue to bring this farm to life! ✨

Our future plans for the farm include growing a variety of apple trees and berry bushes. 🫐🍎 In addition, we plan to work with local beekeepers to bring some hives to the farm. We welcome the bees and hope to help their populations grow and thrive! 🐝🐝🐝

Stay tuned for more updates and photos!

Meet our tree family! 🏑🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲

We believe that trees are an extension of our family, an extension of us. β™₯️

Wait!

Before you throw out your 🍌 banana peel 🍌 put it in your garden instead!

Chop up your banana peel and mix it into the soil to give your🌹 rose bush🌹 a boost and help it grow. You can even lay the full peel on the top layer of soil under the rose bush without chopping it up.

As the peels decompose, they will release nutrients into the soil that will strengthen the stems and flowers.

But wait.... there's more!

Many plants can benefit from banana peels! You can also add the peels to πŸ… tomato plantsπŸ… and πŸ«‘ peppersπŸ«‘
