Famous “Poppy Seed Dressing”,
Merry Hearts Tearoom was famous for lunches , munch and antiques, people would even fly in to eat there. Hands down the chicken salad, poppy seed dressing,fruit salad with pumpkin bread slice best I’ve ever ate.. We have lived in Granbury. (Hood County) forever. and the tearoom was such a sweet place to go enjoy great folks. food, and shop, it became famous for both . I bought many of unique antiques white on a fill tummy there lol. Like so many of our south’s old charming historic towns. They all seam to have that special place to din and shops.
