Why did we choose the name "Toledo Cheese Depot" and what exactly do we do?!
Toledo Cheese Depot was intentionally built as a community anchor to encourage local revitalization efforts in Toledo. In addition to choosing a name honoring Toledoβs uniquely cheesy history, a depot is itself defined as βa place for the storage of large quantities of equipment, food, or some other commodity.β
Toledo Cheese Depot generally has 50+ unique cheeses in stock complimented by a curated selection of crackers, nuts, pickled products, meats, jams, olives, gifts, baskets and boards! Our products are sourced as close as Lewis County and as far away as the rest of the world.
Toledo Cheese Depot is not a cheese factory and we do not make cheese ourselves - we are a community hub for visitor information and a specialty grocer focusing on a variety of cheeses and everything that goes along with them.
We're here for you Tue-Fri from 12P-6P and Saturdays from 10A-4P in the historic mercantile building in the heart of cheesy little Toledo, WA.
