If you would have asked me 2 years ago, if I thought this was where the Lord was going to have me I would have told you no. I still cannot believe that this is my life🥺. Looking back, there were so many times that I chose my own way, but God kept pushing me back to baking, and so many times I turned my cheek. God's plan was so far greater than my own. Not because I get to own my own business, but because what I get to do through this business. In this season of life I think God wanted me to find purpose. God has given me something to steward, and I have learned so much as a business owner. But my purpose is to serve, to love people, to be kind and reflect Jesus in all the little daily interactions. It just happens to be that I get to do that through my business. The bakery was never the destination, it has always just been the vehicle.
If you've ever supported Brit's Batch—whether you've come in once, shared a post, prayed for us, encouraged me, or been here since I was baking out of my home... thank you. You may think you're just supporting a small business, but you're allowing me to walk in the purpose God has placed on my life. I don't have the words to express how grateful I am for that.
"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace" 1 Peter 4:10
