🚨🚨🚨Extra, extra, read all about it!🚨🚨🚨

We had our last calf! I know, I know — it was almost a week ago, but life has been absolutely crazy from that day until now.

The weekend was a blur, and this week I started my new position and jumped right into training. The house is getting electrical work done, and, of course, all those laser-engraved cattle tags have been keeping me on my toes. Thank goodness for the rain last week because I didn’t have to squeeze haying into the middle of all that chaos.

Enough about me. Let’s talk about the NEW BABY!

Destiny finally had her calf. We swore she was crossing her legs and holding him in as long as she could. She had an adorable little bull calf, and to make things even more special, he was born on my Grandpa B’s birthday.

So, I decided to name him Dean after my grandpa. Dean is already proving to be quite the little spitfire and has definitely been giving us a run for our money!

That brings us to our fall calving statistics. We welcomed 24 calves altogether — 11 bulls and 13 heifers. We are so thankful for healthy calves, healthy mamas, and another successful calving season.

As much as we hate to see calving season come to an end, we’re excited to watch these little ones grow.

1 left to go!!! 🚨🚨🚨🚨

We had a super busy weekend and this week has been hot but busy week. Farmer Sally one of the 2 last to Calve had a little girl on Sunday 7/19. Little backstory on farmer Sally her calf last year got attacked by dogs. At the end of July in 2025, and Ryan and I worked with our neighbor and we all got her calf healed and back to normal for the most part. As you all know because I’ve said it before Ryan and I fell in love with the calf and the Mom and so we ended up buying her and since farmer Sally was part of Adam’s heard, we have decided to name her Ariat. Since Adam always wore Ariat shirts. She is beautiful little heifer! We’ve had quite a few Heifers this year and it’s gonna make it really hard to decide which ones we’re gonna keep in which ones we’re gonna have to sell.

My goal is to ship custom tags to all 50 U.S. states… and I’m getting there!

So far, I’ve shipped to 30 states 🤯

Hard to believe that I have shipped to that many states already! Seeing it on a map is even crazier the map looks so full already!

That’s 20 states left to go! 💪

I was in the garage all day working on the laser. Hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July! Maelee wants to do fireworks tomorrow night better late then never I guess!

We finally have 2 more babies on the ground! After a long break from the last babies that we had the middle of May. We have 2 beautiful healthy heifers on the ground and they have wasted no time running with the other calves while mama is running behind them mooing and bag a swinging! These 2 were born the same day just hours apart. 601 was first and Maelee has been bugging us about naming the next girl calf Goldie even though we have told her several times we have a Goldie she is buried by the pond. Maelee never got to meet Goldie I was pregnant with Maelee when Goldie passed. But Maelee is persistent that we name this new baby Goldie. With Ryan on board we decided Goldie 2.0 will be 601’s little girls name. Side note 601 has only had 1 girl and the rest of her former calves were boys! Now on to Miranda she had her little girl shortly after she is a carbon copy of mama and likes to hide as well as her grandma Maggie. We have named her Mavis! We have had 4 heifers in a row! We are 22 down and 2 left to go!

Wonder what the last 2 will be will we tie with 12 and 12 or will the girls keep there lead? Only time will tell!

I couldn’t leave these 2 alone for 5 mins! Look at those smiles

Last night my daughter was riding her 4 wheeler with her dad while I wasn’t home for a bit I was gone 5 mins and came home to her and the 4 wheeler covered in mud! She was smiling from ear to ear! She isn’t afraid to get dirty.
