I took a strawberry cheesecake into work today and a co worker said something that really warmed my heart after I gave him some smack talk because of how he started the conversation haha 😂

He starts eating the cheesecake and goes “Tanya I don’t know why you are here”

I literally looked at him and was confused about what he said. He then goes “I don’t know why you are working here like I said, this is probably the best cheesecake I have ever had you need to be baking full time not working here”

Now this is not the first time I have heard something similar especially from co workers. It truly does warm my heart!! As much as I would love do my baking full time 1) it has been extremely hard to get my name out there 2) its quite expensive to run a bakery especially when everything is made from scratch (I REFUSE TO USE BOX MIX OR ANYTHING THATS NOT FRESH AND FROM SCRATCH!!!)

I joked with my boss that clearly I’m not important at work and should just leave haha

It’s the little moments in life like this today that make you cherish what you do ❤️😊

Its been a very exhausting week with this heat!! But made 5 sourdough loaves, 1 blueberry cheesecake, and 1 strawberry cheesecake. All made with homemade compote.

2 bacon + 3 cheese sourdough loaves
1 Jalapeño sourdough loaf
2 plain sourdough loaves

What a fun experience today!!! I was asked by a local daycare to come and do a cupcake bake day and decoration session. It was so much fun and heartwarming to watch all the kids partake in this.

To see their excitement about how their cupcakes came out was so cute!!! Well worth taking a day away from work!

My co workers sweet pup has passed over the rainbow bridge. My heart absolutely breaks for her and her family!!! I did what I know to do best and made him a doggy cake for his final good boy treat ❤️😭 LOOK AT THAT FACE AND SMILE!!!! Everyone please send virtual hugs and love to my awesome co worker!!

Because of the heat I had to put a holt on orders but I will be getting back to them this week since we aren’t in the 100’s anymore!!!
