Porch Spiders Pale Ale Now on Tap! New Zealand Style Pale Ale
This sprightly brew is sure to ensnare your taste buds with its tangled web of tropical flavors. We coupled extra light pilsner malt with New Zealand hops that pop! We chose Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, and Nectaron hops for their sassiness.
John named this brew after my dear friends experience (let’s call him David to protect his privacy) with the spiders that stand watch and keep the bugs out of the house. While we appreciate their important work, they can be creepy all the same, especially when you can’t get the keypad to cooperate at your Airbnb. Now there may have been some great Wisconsin b**r involved, which in turn lead to some porch slumbering. Not restful sleep mind you, not with the porch light drawing in swarms of summertime insects which sent the spiders scurrying. Alone, armed with his chair cushion and only occasionally dozing off, he stayed vigilant, spending his long night shooing and flicking spiders away ! This was not an especially unusual night for him, and he still showed up for the fest on time! Thanks for making every trip a memorable one David!
