Steak Tips is excited about this one, Oct 4th!!!!

PLAINVILLE — CT Truckz will host an “Airport Showdown” truck show Oct. 4 at Robertson Airport while supporting the local Plainville Food Pantry.

The truck show will be held from noon to 5 at the airport at 62 Johnson Ave.

Prizes will be awarded for “best in show”, “best in wheels” and “best overall.” Matt Cianchetti, founder of CT Truckz, said he will also award a portion of proceeds as a check to the Plainville Food Pantry.

“I founded this page in 2019 when I was at Plainville High School and recently revitalized it,” he said.

“It means a lot to me to do this in my hometown,” he said. “It will be a great family day with helicopter rides from the airport, local vendors and fun country music playing. We try to make it fun for everyone. There’s no alcohol or burnouts.”
