Our hens are known for laying beautiful, large eggs, but every once in a while, one of them decides to show off! 🤩 Check out this whopper that made its way into today's collection.

We never know when one of these extra-large surprises will appear, and that's part of the fun of raising happy backyard hens. 🐔💛

🐾 Welcome to the Rustic Roost family, Mac! 🐾

Our hatchlings crew has a new four-legged member, and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce this handsome pup. While our egg collectors are known for loving chickens and ducks, they’ve always had a soft spot for dogs too!

Mac is already settling into life at the roost, keeping a watchful eye on the flock, soaking up attention, and stealing hearts wherever he goes. We can’t wait for all the adventures ahead with our newest farm companion.

Hi friends — with so many new followers joining us lately, we wanted to take a moment to reintroduce ourselves! 🤎🐓

We are Rustic Roost & Hatchlings, located in Townsend Delaware, where we raise chickens and harvest eggs right here on our family land. Our egg collectors are fifth generation to this land, and watching the next generation continue these traditions means everything to us.

What started with one little egg collector quickly grew into a family team when his little sister and cousin eagerly joined in to help! These kids just put in some hard work and added onto their coop!These kids truly love being outside, getting their hands dirty, caring for the chickens/ducks, and learning the value of hard work every single day.

Family is at the heart of everything we do here at Rustic Roost & Hatchlings. We take pride in working together, teaching responsibility, and sharing our love of chickens/ducks with the community. 🥚✨
