FYI - Pickle Day on the Common is right around the corner - Saturday, Aug 8 beginning at noon. Here’s the scoop on entering your pickles into the contest!

Hey Buddies if you wanna enter your pickles into the best pickle in town contest here is how! bring your home made amazing pickles in a labeled jarto this here cooler inside the west river community project! FinAllie Ferments kitchen crew of pickle wizards are going to be tasting and judging pickles on the 5th in our New Kitchen! Franklin County CDC and Announcing winners at pickle day! This year we have 3 catagories! Lacto Fermented (pickled with salt and microbiology magic) Vinegar (pickled with vinegar) Youth (pickled by kidos) Good luck and may the best pickle win!

Willing clear skies for Saturday’s Grace Cottage ! What will be going on over at 58G? During fair hours, we’ll only be serving light refreshments out of Lil’s on a donation basis w/ proceeds going to the hospital so please feel free to stop by especially if you haven’t yet checked out the grounds & facilities. From 3-6pm Saturday and 11-6 on Sunday, we’ll have our new menu (pinned) with the following salads/sides/specials: German potato salad, Tzatziki-chickpea salad, Moroccan carrot salad, chicken meatballs in sauce TBD (you can also get these in fair’s lunch booth) & clam chowder.

All that being said, we are also happy to welcome back Yoboseyo with their luscious drink options on Saturday from at least 9-3. Follow their page for details!
