Poor dog did his job getting the skunk out but NOT before he got sprayed in the face!!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Then of course we ran to the lounge chair to try to rub off all the stink! 😝 So bath time and new lounge chair cushion it is! Farm life has its good and bad! 🤷🏼‍♀️

5 years ago we started this Chicken Journey and the addiction began!! 🐣 we had no idea what we were doing and really leaned on this “Chicken” community for help and guidance. We went for 2 silkies and left with 5….that quickly added to now 17 feathered girls! Pretty sure the flock will be growing after our Big move 🙌🐓 New coops,
New chicks, garden builds more farm animals! Stay tuned…🐮🐴🐑

It’s been brutal for us all!!! 😭 105 temps and high humidity for weeks now and we are doing everything we can to keep the animals alive!! I literally am outside every other hour chasing out waterers, adding ice bottles, cooling down runs, giving watermelon and electrolytes, fans, misters…. all of it!! But it’s taking a toll on myself and them. This is no summer we have ever had before and now just praying for some relief 🙏🏻 cool weather come soon please!!!

We have 4 Maines and only this one is obsessed with water!! 💦 He waits patiently for me to get out so he can go lay in the water 🤷🏼‍♀️ We will also be finding every toy he has in the water bowls! These cats are very entertaining and always into something! 🤪

Even though we have been going through some struggles…we never miss a sunset to be thankful for this beautiful life! Spending time in peace with the girls helps all the stress and anxiety come to a calm….🥰🐓✌️
