It's the year of the Fire Horse. I'm a Wood Rabbit.

I'm a star gazer but I don't usually pay attention to cosmic predictions. However, I find it interesting that wood feeds fire. Perhaps the Fire Horse may have fueled in me a highly creative drive this year and gave me courage to step out of my comfort zone in several ways. I've done a lot of new things, terrifying and exciting, that you could say have mentally destroyed me. I've made foolish mistakes, wanted to quit, and tested all my capacities at once. Cosmic experts say that my flower farm is my creative energy and driving dump truck is my grounding anchor. Yes and no. I've yet to see that all come to fruition but hey, it's only mid October.
Maybe the fruition is different than I imagine it to be.
I've learned some things about myself and I like rabbits and horses and wood and fire and if they really are in the mix this year then I'm grateful for the inspiration and progress they represent. I tip my new hat to the rest of 2026 burning bright with ambition, momentum, courage and independence!

There was some wild dump truck adventures last week. I had a buddy teaching me the ropes. I don't think I've been more terrified in my life. I had to come straight home and walk two miles to calm my nerves. 😆 Downshifting is still kicking my butt.
Not gonna lie, I'm glad it's pouring down rain today. No jobs ready, and... it's a holiday?...🤔

When I first started sponsoring flowers for rodeo queen pageants, I had no idea what I was getting myself into. It has surpassed any expectation I might have had. I have been richly blessed meeting so many wonderful people dedicated to preserving western heritage and agriculture, teaching, leading, serving and mostly being a bright spot in the world.
My rodeo gals inspire me over and over again every single year. I thought I was blessing their lives with flowers but really, I have been the one who has been blessed.
I was pleasantly surprised with this gift today after the Miss Wilderness Circuit pageant. It's so much more to me than a darling photo of a friend enjoying flowers. It's all the time, opportunities, memories, and magic that flowers have given me and so many others.
I can't wait to add it to my wall of fame!

Thank you to my rodeo gals, not just the royalties but all of them who have competed and inspired the heck out of me..... you all know who you are!

After 30 years in the floral industry, you'd think I would have it down perfect. But behind the scenes, this delicious wedding palate reminded me again, to be myself and design with my heart. You never stop learning because flowers are as unique as the individual you are designing for. It all went together beautifully, and I'm really thankful for the awesome people I have the blessing to get to know over the years through flowers.

Flower bouquet subscriptions have finished up for the season which I find unfortunate when the flowers are just now starting to shine after a long, long hot summer.
Bouquets are still available until frost so if you feel like you would be more likely to clean your kitchen if you had fresh flowers on the counter, then shoot me a message and we can get you fixed up straight away!

Ok, so now I can last a little longer. Got my lungs & spirit refreshed with Wyoming air. Moose, elk, coyotes, fish-birds and a moment to remember Grizzly Mama 399.

FLOWER POWER: I hear folks say all the time they don't want flowers because they don't last.
It makes me sad that they don't realize that's one of the greatest superpowers of flowers there is!

Our minds quickly get used to the same old routine and fleeting, sun soaked blooms are a sensory wake up call.

It gives your life and home a natural reset. And that's just the cherry on top of a long list of scientifically proven health benefits.

And if we get down to the ugly of it, nothing lasts.
So live!! Surround yourself with beauty and joy!
When we get to the other side, we will wish for the things that were experiential.
