Oops!! Time has gotten away from me and I have a few more kids to congratulate!
Nathan Maes did a wonderful job showing and putting the work in on his wether! He was a younger goat and they worked hard and got him where he needed to be!

First time goat showmen Allie Jo and Oakley Leyba rocked it yesterday at RACF with their two wethers. Allie Jo took first in the lightweight market class and Oakley took first in the medium lightweight market class. Nice job young ladies! 😁

Both wethers are sired by Tex and dams are Dipstick and Oreo D.

I had the privilege of being there to watch Adelene Zielie show at the SFCF! This girl is a fantastic showman and came away with a 2nd place in the heavyweight market class with Cola. He weighed in at 102lbs! (Lena, correct me please, if I put the wrong weight!) Thank you, Zielie family for doing such a great job with the goats! I forgot to get a picture of Cora and the doeling but I'll get one at the next show! 😁

Well surprise! I checked the camera after I got in bed and immediately got back up and dressed, lol, back to the barn. Dusty gave us a very pretty palomino/dunalino? filly. (Will see what she looks like after her first foal shed) She does have some chrome, but not seeing any spots. She was born with what is called "witches milk", she has a full bag and is leaking milk from her teats. Never had this before, so it's quite interesting. Caused by hormones from Mom and shouldn't be a problem but I will be keeping a close eye on this and will be calling the doc to be sure. I also found the hippomane! I've only ever found one other before this. What a fun birth!

I took pictures of Astara yesterday, but it was impossible to get decent pictures, 😂. She is the friendliest baby ever. This one is definitely born "broke"!! Every one of Gypsy's fillies (she has only had fillies so far) are like this. Gentle, gentle, gentle! Today Sage, helped me get better pictures 😂😁.
