We have had the pleasure of working with them since 2020 and we have catered some of the most beautiful weddings here. Every time a couple contacts me for a micro wedding, I always recommend this venue.

We have the capability of serving a buffet style meal or a plated dinner here. The glory of this space is that you can use the space to match your desired layout. And you have access to all of their incredible decor and furniture through Fox & Finch Vintage Rentals If your wedding party is larger than the guest count permitted in this space, you have the option of renting a tent, then renting tables, chairs and vintage furniture for your larger wedding. We love a DIY wedding. As long as your guest count is 60 guests or less, we would love to talk to you about your plans.

We rose to fame because we became known as the micro Wedding caterer that could pull your wedding together in less than two weeks. We mobilize very quickly. As long as I am not booked, I can make all of the magic happen for you. And we have so many incredibly talented friends in the industry, we can connect you with some of the best of the best.

In fact, Allium Floral Design is also in the building. Sarah did my flowers when I was married at Fox & Finch, as well. I highly recommend you hire them for your florals.

I have to repost this. This cracks me up.

For all of you out there who have had me cater your wedding or if you’ve attended a wedding that I’ve catered, you’ve probably heard me announce that “I need you to please let the Bride and Groom eat their dinner in peace. Thank you!

I literally politely ask all of the guests to leave them alone so they can eat their dinner.

What is it with people thinking because the Bride and Groom have sat down to eat that it is the perfect opportunity for them to go over and talk to them while they’re eating…the dinner that I specially prepared for them?!

I politely tell everyone to stay away from them. It brings me great joy and my couples always really appreciate it because they paid a lot of money to hire us to cater the food. People need to let them eat in peace. It’s very important to me.

Let them eat.

As the mother of the bride, I could not have been more thrilled with the choices that my daughter has made. Eden was a flower girl once in my sister‘s wedding. And then she grew up and she married a man that lives on this beautiful farm with his wonderful family. & I am so grateful that they have welcomed me into the family, as well.

This beautiful place is Foxglove Farm | Berks County Wedding Venue | Oley, PA run by the Vooz family. It has become a popular destination for a rustic barn wedding in Berks County. Located in Oley, Pa -this beautiful venue offers an expansive space in the lower and upper barn.

I am reminiscing about their wedding day on the farm. It was the perfect day. If you are interested in renting this space for your next micro wedding, we would love for you to consider hiring us for your wedding day catering. Now that we have returned to the wedding scene again, we are very excited to be able to offer our services here.

We prefer a guest count of 60 guests or less. We can offer buffet style or a plated dinner. The sky is the limit with your chosen menu. We are able to accommodate all dietary preferences. We take great pride in providing excellent service on one of the most treasured days of your life. Our pricing starts at $100 per person for a wedding package. Not only am I a savory Chef, I am also a pastry chef. We would be happy to provide you with a beautiful wedding cake, as well.

We have very exciting projects in the works, as we once again, expand our repertoire. There is a beautiful farm located in Upper Perkiomenville, called Beth Schultz SCHULTZ FARM

Every year, for the past several years, we cohost a farm to table dinner in the months of August and September. Beth & Kevin Schultz provide a beautiful space for flower picking and a wonderful dining experience. It has been an honor and a pleasure to continue to work with them every year. The care and attention to their beautiful property is enjoyed by everyone at these events. And if you’ve ever lived on a farm, you know just how much time and hard work it takes. Their farm is one of the oldest working farms in Pennsylvania. It is a historical treasure that they continue to maintain and offer to the public.

You can rent the spaces available for an event. You can come flower picking. You can rent time to do a photo shoot on the property. Beth also creates beautiful planters every year & right now. They have pumpkins for sale.

Next month we will cater our first private event there with Tina Lahr Tina has hired us to cater a private celebration. She is one of our most devoted guests that joins us at our farm to table dinners every year. She is also the excellent photographer that provides us with many of the pictures that we are able to showcase after each event. We are very grateful for her.

Thank you, anyway!!

Y’all do not need to recommend me to people that require me to measure the food. I do not measure, unless I’m baking. Once someone tried to hire me to cook for her macro diet, and I had to measure everything. It is not my forte. It didn’t last long -it made me miserable.

I will never measure for family prep. It goes against everything that I believe in 🤣

I cook by taste. I trust my instincts. Sometimes the food tastes a little bit different. But I cook with my heart. And I love cooking for people that I love. That’s why I interview my clients. And that’s why I walk away from toxic people. But thank you for continuing to recommend me, but you really don’t need to do that ….especially when they want their food weighed out and measured. OK?

This is a follow up post from my previous post earlier today. Yes- there are adults who do not like their food to touch. I empathize because that’s how I felt as a child.

However, I am not one of those adults… now I thoroughly enjoy most types of food. I do not care to try eyeballs and blowfish. Etcetera I really do my best to stay away from foods that could harm my tummy or give me a parasite.

But this is the Poké bowl that I had on Sunday evening. I made it for myself. It is smoked salmon tossed with Jenny's Kuali Ginger garlic sauce….Which is my lifeline, I order it by the quart. This bowl has avocado, cucumber, seaweed, and warm jasmine rice with a little Sriracha and fresh lemon. Plus, a little pickled ginger from Wonder Garden

my food touches now. All is well. 🤣🤣🤣

I saw this today and I was like “oh my God. that’s me as a child.”

When I was a toddler, I did not like my food to touch. I was a little fussy at times and I was always very vocal about my needs. That never changed.

My aunt used to tell me the story over and over again. Cause she thought it was so funny. One day, I’m in my highchair, and I’m fussing about the food touching…& when they designed those plates that have separation, I threw a party.

She said to me “you sure are picky.”

and I said “I not a piggy. I a person.”

And look at me now. i’m very proud to be picky. it’s not wise to mess with people like me.

Something wonderful happened yesterday. I got justice.

Our friends at do not want you to know what they’re doing. And when you are done reading this story, I hope you call them and request a supervisor. I hope you force them to adjust your bill.

If you are on a budget payment, they charge you whatever they want and then they skim off the top and then they put a little bit aside for you in “credit.” I called them to dispute charges and change the payment method.

My name is on the account. I am already an existing paying customer. The current bill was $600 for the month of September. They told me that in order to switch the account into my name that I was going to have to apply for a new account, they would check my credit and I will have to pay a deposit.

I said No. We will not be doing that because I am already an existing, paying customer…you already took a deposit from us 10 months ago when we moved onto this property-let’s simplify things -all we’re going to do is change the payment method. I went online and I updated the account info.

Next, I asked to be transferred to a supervisor to explain that I WAS NOT HAPPY that they tried to force me to become a new customer. When she gets on the phone, she explains to me that, in fact, we have a $1400 credit in our budget account. A $1400 credit that is used just in case the customer does not pay their bill. I said “use that money to pay the balance.” She transfers me over to a billing associate. I told her that we wanted to use what was in the credit account. And that we wanted a refund. So she canceled the payment. Essentially a refund. Used the money from the credit. We were paying a budget payment of about $400 a month. And she told me now that you’ve been taken out of budget payments, you will pay the actual charges. I said, “What are the actual charges per month?” She said that we will owe on average less than $200 a month. Nothing more.

My head almost exploded yesterday.

Contact your power company and tell them you only want to pay the actual charges. Don’t let them scam you anymore. They suck.
