More colors out of the dye pot ❤️ feeling more connected to the whole process… and it punches so easy and nice ❤️ a weekend of resting after two weeks of poking and probing by medical professionals~ no direct sunlight for two weeks and well… that leaves a lot of time in the studio ❤️❤️

I’ve been hooking and rug punching for almost 30 years…. And have never ever DYED a skein of yarn… I rely on other artists to do the magic… BUT Common Ground Fair art needs Maine Yarn and there’s only one supplier of rug yarn but doesn’t have the colors I want…. So starting with Bartlett Natural Rug Yarn… huge shout out to Jackie the owner of Heavenly Yarns for walking through the process with these amazing dyes… Rob went and picked the dye up and I tried it tonight… these three are drying and three more in the pots!!! Who knew it would be so easy with Abundance Earth Dyes ❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Come see us tomorrow as a guest artist at Brooksville Farmers Market ❤️9-11:30 ❤️ We will have Maine Balsam Pillows, Our Balsam Fish( big and small) and a couple of rugs. All in a small, quaint coastal Maine ❤️town ❤️

They say good things come to those who wait… I’ve applied to this fair for 10 long years… they insisted I needed to apply for the “Fine Arts” section even though I wanted to be in the “Maine Marketplace”… this year they juried me for that and I was accepted BUT waitlisted…. Today, I came off the waitlist and will be able to exhibit ❤️ my heart is full and I know my Mom is smiling down on me as she sold baskets there when it first started over 50 years ago❤️❤️❤️
