Welcome to our family GAMBLE! We are thrilled to announce that GAMBLE is an official member!❤️ Congratulations Mike!
GAMBLE is a Rocky Mountain horse and the first gaited school horse at CHF. He performs both the 4 beat ambling gait as well as the faster racking gait.
These gaits are smoother than the 2 beat trot and are very comfortable to sit.
GAMBLE is chocolate in color with a flaxen mane and tail, he is 14.2h tall.
Many people believe that the Rocky is extremely people friendly. GAMBLE is a wonderful example of this breed.
GAMBLE is now ready for new students. Call and reserve a lesson with GAMBLE! You won’t regret it! It’s a sure win!🎲

With deep sadness we regret to share with our friends and Cherokee Hill Family that on Wednesday March 29th we said our final farewells
to Susie Lesser.Susie was a vital part of the Cherokee Hill Family for most of 15 yrs. She was an organizer and steady participant in all of the farms activities.
3 of her special horses lived at CHF throughout the years, which many of you will
remember with great affection, Kai, Kate, and now Holly. Big Holly will remain here on the farm with Mike and join the CHF riding school .
Susie was an accomplished horsewoman and sportswoman for many many years. She loved lessoning with Mike in the early morning hours. Susie’s love of horses and her sense of humor will be remembered by all. Susie’s contagious smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
Rest in peace Susie.
We will always love and remember you .

Today we celebrated the glorious life of Hank, the
HERD BOSS of
CHEROKEE HILL FARM.
We had graveside prayers and a luncheon at the barn with carrots for all!
On 2/26/23 we had to say goodbye to our
Very Special and Best Friend Hank.
Mike, Judy, and myself, and the many many Friends of Hank, both human and equine, who adored him over the past 10 years that he lived at Cherokee Hill, will remember him always and he will remain in our hearts forever.
Hank was larger than life and yet a gentle giant.
Hank was the ultimate herd boss, a combo of gentle but strong, and obeyed by his herd always.
Hank didn't allow misbehavior and demanded the order that they understood completely!
The herd is lost right now and we are all waiting to see who is next in line!
Please share in the comments below pictures and videos of Hank and we will do the same. Let's continue to celebrate his life.
Pictured here is Hank bringing in his herd for the last time.

Happy New Year!
Make 2023 a great one!!
Our fields have rotated for winter grazing. The pasture is still nice and green. Our horses are enjoying the new grass.
Merry Christmas from your Cherokee Hill Farm Family!
