I am getting back in my extract groove this week while working on an order for a new store opening soon. (More details to come.) I am forever amazed by the colors of nature… This beautiful extract was made with 3 varieties of fresh peaches and smells so delightful. I use simple classic white labels so as not to take away from the color provided by fruits, vegetables and flowers. Another reason to that are

Update: I’ll be the first to admit social media is not my favorite thing and I am awful about posting regularly. Many have asked how my daughter is doing after her critical spine surgery in September… After a 6 hour surgery, week in the hospital, 1 month of home rehabilitation, 20 screws, 2 rods and a 2 foot scar on her back, I am happy to report that she is doing wonderful. She is actually dancing in her last pom competition of the season this weekend! Ericka has taught me so much about overcoming adversity and allowing life’s hard moments to build character. Taking a step back from growing Annie’s Extracts last year was difficult, but I am so thankful I was able to by Ericka’s side during her most difficult time. One day, when I process the craziness of 2023, I will share more about her condition. Until then, I’m ready to get back to work!!!

This week, I took a break from extracts to support the cause closest to my heart. My children go to Darnaby Elementary and directly benefit from funds raised by the Darnaby Arts and Crafts Show. Volunteering for this show has become a part of our family’s holiday tradition for the past 7 years. If you have never attended this event, it is incredible. Tomorrow, we are open 8am-4pm at 68th & Mingo in Tulsa, OK. The best part? FREE ADMISSION. Come and shop 200 of the most talented small business owners with affordable and unique handmade products. Not only are you supporting your small business community, you are supporting one amazing school. Come by and say hi! I will be hanging with Santa Claus and the Union Pom dancers making sure your children have the most magical experience.
