Good is my line of thinking for long term water storage capacity and efficiency. If we ever need to add another drip line in we will. But for now, we are able to keep up with the water demands for the crop quality we are after.

1gph emitters every 4 feet equals a lot of water… 😂 but this is supposed to be a supplemental system, it doesn’t replace rain and good practices. It will provide plenty of water in dry times but the system will be running overtime in that case.
