Just had our first chef-prepared meal made with mushrooms we grew.

This is such a milestone. I’ve been trying to write this for over an hour.

I got the mushroom bowl with added chicken. Jess got the chicken curry bowl. Both were excellent, and coming from people who eat mushrooms a LOT, that means something. The flavors, the sear, the textures, the balance… it was just perfect.

Bowlcuts is doing something special. Healthy and delicious at the same time. No compromise. That’s rare. It’s exactly the kind of place we’ve been looking for, not only as a restaurant partner, but as a real answer to the “I’m hungry but nothing sounds good” problem. You know what I mean.

Huge shoutout to Emma and the team for cooking with our mushrooms and treating them right. You’re crushing it. The pride and gratitude I feel is almost too much to put into words.

If you’re in Tulsa and want food that’s outside the same tired picks, food that not only tastes good but makes you feel good, go see them downtown. I can’t recommend them enough.

Even at Finn Knows, we have to let loose once in a while.

Some men wake up and choose a sensible outfit.

I woke up and chose orange sherbet business casual with emotionally unstable leopard bell-bottoms.

This outfit says, “I own three nightclubs, owe money to a magician, and I’m about to explain a once-in-a-lifetime investment opportunity involving a timeshare in Reno.”

Stay dirty, my friends—because these pants have seen some things, know a guy, and are no longer allowed near a riverboat casino, a karaoke machine, or the Shoney’s breakfast buffet.

Even Finn refused to make eye contact. He knew this could become evidence.

Remember: confidence is just bad judgment with excellent posture.
