Huge congratulations to our rider Madison on an amazing first show back! 🎉🐎

Madison stepped into the ring with our training horse, Ensigns Stately Sequoia aka Wren, for his very first show ever—and what a debut it was! These two have only been riding together for about a month, but they went in with confidence, determination, and heart.

They brought home some beautiful blues 💙 and a few medals along the way, showing just how quickly this partnership has come together. We couldn’t be more proud of the work Madison has put in and how well Wren handled his first time in the show ring.

To top it all off, Madison is now officially qualified for the Medal Over Fences at the World Show! 🌎✨ Also huge congratulations to a great placing in the adult equitation on the flat in a large class!

Wren is also now qualified in Intro A and B in classical dressage scoring in the 70’s his first trip! As well as introductory Western Dressage!

Way to go, Madison and Wren! The whole CK Ranch family is cheering you on and we can’t wait to see what’s next!

16 hand Gray mare, has shown at one schooling show, and has had one filly in 2022 tall leggy chestnut filly!

She is going around like a pro already, she rides like she could be an hunter, jumper or a dressage horse! She has lovely self carriage and is easy to get along with, not mareish at all. She is sensitive off the leg and ready to do whatever you ask her!

Has natural lead changes both directions.

Went to her first schooling show, handled everything like she’s been there a million times, first indoor, first time schooling with 10+ horses and seeing all the sights was perfect!!

We have had quite a season producing pure bred chicks and some Easter Egger mutts! We actually had an over hatch on our last hatch of spring! Here is what we have extra on!
OEs - multiple colors mostly blacks, whites, grays and spotted
A Few BCMs!
Easter Eggers - which all are pure black ameraucanas and all will lay blue
Ermine Ameraucanas - couple dominant whites, Spotted, and blacks
We also have limited Black Brahmas!

Here at CK Ranch we do a little bit of everything. These are graphic images, but wow does this wound look so much better! I am lucky to work with such tolerant animals. This horse is not on our property but the owner was leaving and needed someone to keep up with it. Here we are cleaning and doing some wound debridement with lots of water therapy. Luckily it’s not hot here in Oklahoma so we don’t have to worry about leaving it open to let Oxygen and Mother Nature heal it. This is one of the many things we offer here, if you have a horse rehabbing from an injury we have years of therapy experience and rehab experience. As well as having a vet tech on the property seems to help. If you have a wound you just don’t want to have to take care of give us a shout, we are in Tuttle but travel quite a lot and can help you out. Or if you just want a second opinion on a wound or need help learning to take care of it we would love to help. Thankful for all our customers, from dirt work, to horse training, to our wound care customers we thankfully are able to do many things here at the ranch.
