In homesteading, my only competition is myself. Every day is a chance to do better, be better, and grow beyond who I was yesterday. Some people want to turn homesteading into a competition with others, but here at Ruby Acres, that’s not what we’re about.
We believe in growth, learning, and building a better future one day at a time. That mindset carries into the animals we raise as well. By bringing in new chicken genetics, we’re working to create stronger, healthier, and more resilient flocks than the generations before — improving hardiness, health, and overall quality with every step forward.
At Ruby Acres, the goal isn’t to compete with anyone else. The goal is to keep improving ourselves, our homestead, and everything we care for. Every season is another opportunity to learn more, work harder, and leave things better than we found them.
