Last week, we celebrated the retirement of Leslie Gearing, Equipment Sales Manager at ChemREADY — a name well known across the dewatering industry, and a cornerstone of our team.

For over a decade, Leslie built her reputation selling dewatering systems with deep technical expertise and a relationship-first approach that earned her the trust of customers and partners alike. She was instrumental in building and maintaining our partnership with Matec, bringing the same patience, skill, and persistence to that relationship that defined her entire career.

Leslie leaves behind more than a track record of results. She leaves a legacy of integrity, hard work, and the kind of industry relationships that don't happen by accident.

Wastewater 101: Coagulant vs. flocculant. What's the difference?

Steve Winter breaks it down. Coagulants neutralize the charge on tiny suspended particles so they can start clumping together. Flocculants then bridge those small clumps into larger, heavier floc that settles out of the water.
