One of our youngest generation has wanted a red head since he first entered the barn. A few weeks ago his dreams and hard work aligned and he was able to purchase this red angus beauty. Welcome Fortune and thank you Gabe Zepp and Zepp’s Country Acres Farm for raising this pretty girl.

They say the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, but what about the other side of the road?
With a road dividing the farm in two, our cows are pretty good at crossing the street in order to rotate pastures. It usually involves a bucket of corn, so as you can see, they are excited to get there.

Thank you to all our neighbors for being patient when we stop traffic for a minute.

Last year this heifer was getting ready to head to the Carroll County Fair. This year she is getting ready to have her first calf. She learned to appreciate fans during her time as a show cow!
