A labor of love. How it all started. This area was selected and fenced in shortly after moving to the farm. But baby 🐐s so I had to delay starting my garden for a few months.
Closer to the end of the summer, I finally had my garden back. Fence had to be raised a few more feet up to prevent the 🦌s from eating up everything.
There's a bamboo farm close to us and I purchases a few to plant and got a ton of his extra dead bamboos free to start building my trellises.

Surprise surprise.
Having a farm, I now get to experience this. Have some broody hens. Heard chirp chirp and well well. But 2 girls fighting for that nesting box. One baby fell out. So now they're in the house.
Astrolorp and orpington mix, astrolorp and starlight green egger mix. Curious to see what they look like. The internet had some nice pics of astrolorp and orpington mix.
