FRIDAY 6/26 Group Tour and Distillation
Celebrate our anniversary with our upcoming group guided tour. We will share a brief history of the property, some of our most epic restoration stories and include a walk up to our Lavender fields, where we will share an overview of our Lavender cultivars and their uses, give an introduction to our region specific growing practices and guests are invited to walk amongst the rows of flowers, looking out over the Thomas P. Bentley pastoral preserve and ask any questions they might have while enjoying a refreshing Lavender lemonade. We will finish with a tour of the essential oil distillery and a product education with opportunity to sample the essential oil and all items we make on the farm. With options to visit the Warwick Furnace ruins and canon, gallery, artist studio and shop our farm store or stroll the formal garden before leaving the farm. Guest must be able to walk up hilly terrain.

One of our favorite ways to enjoy the fields is our Bring Your Own Picnics and Sunset Harvests. Evenings on the hilltop are among the loveliest times to visit. Even on the hottest summer days, there is a gentle breeze and plenty of shade to make dining on the hilltop overlooking the lavender a pleasure. Collect your picnic provisions Life’s Patina Mercantile & Cafe and spend the evening with us.

Join us today at 2 pm for one of our favorite in season traditions: weaving lavender wands. This elegant craft gained popularity in the 1700s Provence just as the French perfume industry began to flourish.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In this workshop, you will learn the historic art of creating lavender wands—bundles of long-stemmed French lavender woven in velvet ribbon to preserve their scent and beauty for years to come. Guests will harvest their own fragrant lavender from the fields before settling in to weave their wands. Surrounded by the scent of the fields and the rolling hills beyond, it’s a serene way to celebrate and preserve the blooming season.

PRICE $75 per person (if you have already purchased a field visit ticket you can apply it as credit)

* 2 Hours with visit to the lavender fields, harvest experience, plus access to the art gallery and artist studio
* All materials, tools, and instruction to create 1-2 Lavender Wands
