One of the coolest things about the fish farm, other than that it’s a fish farm, is the history of the property it sits on. Two of the old stone ponds that sit on the property were built in the 1800s.

All of our trout are currently spawned on-site at Blue Stream's Cape Cod farm location. We spawn twice a year during natural spawning season using only our best broodstock. We do not use hormones...

Blue Stream Aquaculture

Hatched and Raised in the United States By Us. With nearly 100 years of aquaculture and engineering experience we know how to deliver high quality, sustainable fish. Our network of farms consist of a natural, artesian spring fed trout hatchery, and a multi species recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) facility. As part of our ongoing mission to keep our farms at the forefront of sustainability, we recently upgraded to solar as our Cape Cod farm's primary energy source.

Our products reflect our passion for sustainable protein. There is no denying that we gravitate toward aquaculture because the importance of locally raised fish is so great, but also because our core team came from building and running aquaculture operations throughout New England.
