✨ Visitors by Appointment Only ✨ We pay out of pocket for each and every rescue that comes through our doors.

We are also a private non-state affiliated animal rescue that is not licensed with the state for federal funding. Many of our wonderful rescue horses are also the cornerstone of our Equine Therapy program. As we help our rescue horses heal, in turn, they heal us. Donations are always gladly accepted and greatly appreciated, and help us continue saving lives.

Since we began Shadowlands Ranch several years ago, we've seen so much growth and change. We've watched what started as a dream slowly unfold into a reality that every day becomes greater than we imagined. We are blessed beyond measure to do what we love here in this community we love, and to do it as a family, raising our three sons along the way.
We have decided to honor just how far we have come and the family roots that we have grown from by making a name change that reflects both our journey and our destination, with our family at the forefront, always.
Moving forward we will call this labor of love
Raising Suns Farm & Ranch.
Our new name is deeply meaningful to us and our journey and reflects the driving force behind all that we do, our family, our sons.
Thank you all so much for following along with us this far. We are so excited for the future of the farm and ranch and for all the wonderful things we have in store for you this year!

What a DAY!

Today we had the pleasure in assisting 2A TAC Air OPS Drone Services in a mounted search for a missing horse.

We are SO excited that the day is ending with Beauty captured and headed back home.

A huge thank you to 2A TAC Air Ops for everything they do to aid in the recovery of missing animals. Please like and follow their page to stay in the loop on the wonderful work that Rob does! And if you're able, please donate to help keep Rob doing what he does best!

Another huge Thank You to Lincoln House Motel for providing a cozy place for Rob to lay his head tonight. And to Trailmaster Justin of the Cold Stream Cruzers for helping to facilitate lodging.

We are forever thankful to be a small, family owned farm in such a wonderful community, one that never fails to show up and show out to help one another.
